
Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior carer or care assistant looking to advance their careers.
You could join our incredible home care team in Nantwich as we are looking for an additional senior carer to ensure that the care we provide is of the highest quality.
Senior Home Care Assistants provide leadership to the team and shadow, observe, and mentor new care assistants. They also have a key role in developing care plans and carry out client reviews and assessments. Our Senior Care Assistants are also part of the on-call team, on a rota basis, dealing with emergency calls and covering care calls when required. Additional payment for the time you are on-call.
This can be a full time role or a job share in a part time role.
Purpose of the position
The role is key in ensuring only the highest standards of person-centered care are delivered to our clients within their own homes. To act as a role model to support and develop our team of home care assistants, demonstrating our values and building the team culture. To work as part of the management team, monitoring the quality of care provided and carrying out client reviews.
Main duties and responsibilities
Senior Care Assistants need to work with the Care Manager to plan their diaries to complete care calls as well as providing support to care assistants and clients. This will include early mornings, late nights and weekends. The role is 80% field based.
