Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Artisan Baker with several years of professional experience. This role is ideal for someone confident working with traditional methods, passionate about quality, and comfortable taking responsibility in a new bakery environment. Job post summary Pay: £13.15-£14.00 per hour £18 per hour Senior Head Baker Job Description: We are looking for a brilliant baker to head up our kitchen in our venue on dynamic Golborne Road in Notting Hill. There is the opportunity to take the lead of the section should skills and ambition match that of ours. Klear Labs bakery was conceived from the idea that a bakery can be modern, exciting and transparent at the same time. All of our ingredients are worth mentioning and created with great care, a lot of research and a lot of soul. At Klear Labs we work exclusively with gluten free ingredients, and creativity and curiosity in the daily chores are a must. Attention to detail is important, and we always encourage trialling new ideas and exploring new ingredients as they become available. A suitable candidate must have baking experience in a commercial kitchen, be capable of planning production and produce a variety of items at a high standard. The day starts at 6am and typically finishes at 2-3pm. Working with seasonal produce and being uncompromising in our focus on quality, flavour and a nutrition- led menu, quickly favoured the cafe amongst not only critics and local residents alike, but creatives from every corner the world. We are an independent cafe looking for a baker to work 20 hours, 1 week day and half day weekends. Hours are 7am-3pm and weekends 8am-1pm. Hours can increase depending on the candidate and level of experience. You will need to bake and take charge of the baking section: cookies, cakes, brioche etc. Stock checking, stock ordering, maintaining hygiene and level 2 is a must. We will only hire someone who has been in a similar role, and has had experience working in a commercial kitchen in the UK.
