About Mooboo Orpington
Join the small, friendly team at Mooboo Orpington! We are a local business dedicated to serving high-quality, delicious bubble tea in the heart of Orpington, UK. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our shop, ensuring every customer has a positive and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers, take orders accurately, provide product recommendations, and handle all cash and card transactions using the POS system.
- Drink Preparation: Prepare a variety of bubble teas, fruit teas, and related beverages according to Mooboo’s recipes and quality standards (training provided). This includes brewing fresh tea and preparing tapioca pearls (boba).
- Store Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, restocking ingredients, ensuring the display area is clean and attractive, and maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Teamwork: Work efficiently with the team to manage peak-time rush and ensure smooth service flow.
What We Are Looking For:
- A friendly, energetic, and engaging personality with a passion for customer service.
- A reliable and punctual team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Previous experience in a retail, café, or food service environment is a bonus, but not essential—we will train the right person!
