Infrastructure Engineering | Hiring - Berkshire / Slough / London £45-70k
This role focuses on building and operating resilient cloud platforms that support mission-critical services. The work is about long-term reliability, automation, and disciplined engineering judgement, not short-term fixes or tooling for show.
The remit covers high-availability infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, automation, monitoring, security, and calm problem-solving under pressure. Collaboration with development teams is essential, as is the ability to think in systems.
A strong technical foundation is expected, including cloud platforms, scripting (PowerShell/Python), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and operational best practice. A 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science or a
STEM discipline (or equivalent calibre) underpins the role.
