Reporting to the Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will lead commercial management activities across this high profile project, providing guidance to the wider commercial team and ensuring strong financial and contractual control under NEC forms of contract. This role requires a highly capable commercial professional with proven NEC experience, strong leadership ability, and expertise in final account negotiation and high value subcontractor management. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: • Lead the administration of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, ensuring robust commercial governance., • Manage high value subcontractor accounts, including variations, claims, negotiations and final accounts., • Produce, review and present CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports to senior stakeholders., • Provide commercial leadership to support QS/SQS colleagues working on the project., • Maintain accurate commercial documentation and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements., • Attend site regularly (3 days per week) to support commercial, operational and client needs., • Manage change control processes, early warnings and compensation events., • Work collaboratively with engineering, delivery and commercial teams to ensure alignment on cost, risk and programme.
