We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Tutors to support students from KS2 to KS4 in English, maths or science. The successful candidate will be confident teaching across a range of ages and abilities, helping students improve their reading, writing, comprehension, grammar, and exam confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one or small group tuition sessions for KS2–KS4 students.
- Support students in developing reading comprehension, writing accuracy, grammar, vocabulary, and analytical skills.
- Prepare students for assessments and GCSE English Language examinations where applicable.
- Adapt sessions to suit students’ individual learning needs and abilities.
- Build students’ confidence, motivation, and independent learning skills.
- Use company-provided resources effectively.
- Track student progress and provide feedback where required.
- Requirements
- Strong subject knowledge of English Language, maths or science across KS2–KS4.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and abilities.
- Relevant degree or qualification in English,maths or a related subject preferred.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Tutors who can teach multiple subjects will be favoured.
