We are looking for a full time kitchen porter to join our small and growing team. Working in a busy environment ensuring the kitchen is in the best condition to produce great food. This position is an opportunity to learn the kitchen and new skills to progress to prep and chef positions. TETA’s is a family run Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Belsize village and we pride ourselves in taking care of our staff as much as our guests. We are a team and work together to make sure every day is a happy day for all team members and guests. This role would suit someone who is: ambitious and energetic have a thirst for learning, and shares their knowledge with all of their team deliver uncompromised service with high attention to detail at all times. Keep the pot wash clear during busy periods Follow the cleaning rota to complete deep cleans Help the chefs with food prep during down times Support packaging take away orders Clean and close down the kitchen at the end of every service. Support each other to deliver a great service Ensure the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times. Follow all health and hygiene processes. Complete necessary checks including, cleaning schedule, stock lists, prep lists, temperature checks. Efficient use of time, during down periods keeping busy to improve kitchen life. Ensure tables are cleared and kept tidy with throughout service. Ensure waiters stations are stocked before, during and after service. Support each other to deliver a great service Ensure the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times. Deal with customers in a friendly, warm, courteous, and professional way at all times.
