As our Host, you'll be at the centre of the action, managing reservations, coordinating tables and being one of the first friendly faces our guests meet. 🍽️ The Role You'll take ownership of the reception and reservations area, helping the restaurant run smoothly throughout service. Your responsibilities will include: • Warmly welcoming and seating our guests, • Managing online, telephone and walk-in reservations, • Coordinating the reservations book and maximising table availability, • Managing table allocations and turnover during busy services, • Organising and overseeing larger party reservations, • Responding professionally to guest enquiries in person, by phone and email, • Updating menus and completing daily administrative tasks, • Using Word, Excel and restaurant reservation systems like SevenRooms and Opentable, • Completing opening, closing and daily reception procedures, • Working closely with the management and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service ⭐ What We're Looking For This is an experienced position, so we're looking for someone who is already comfortable working in a busy, high-volume restaurant environment. Our seafood is sourced directly from our very own fishmonger, Jarvis, located right next door, fish really is at the heart of what we do. 🕐 Your Working Hours You must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday on a varied weekly rota.
