We are a pop-up bar that sells a range of alcoholic beverages – in particular mulled wine. The venue will open all-day from the 1st November 2024 to 26th December 2024.  Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages (Operate Challenge 25)  Serve drinks following recipes, accurately and with minimum wastage  Restocking  Ability to interact with customers  Maintain a clean and tidy working area throughout service  Carry out opening and close down duties  Adhere to all relevant Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire regulations

Bar Operations: ○ Complete opening procedures at the start of the shift, ensuring the bar is fully ready for service by opening time. ○ Ensure the bar is ready for peak periods, with all stations set up, fully stocked appropriately and batch recipes prepared as needed (if required). ○ Inform the manager of any unavailable items or issues that arise during service. ○ Maintain a tidy and organized workspace throughout the shift, adhering to cleanliness standards. ○ Perform end-of-shift close down duties, including cleaning all utensils, coffee machine, glass washer, stocking up, dating and organizing the bar area. ○ Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper labeling procedures for refrigerated/opened items. ○ Complete daily checklists and comply with site policies and procedures. Product Knowledge: ○ Have full knowledge of all beverages, including wines, cocktails, and other drinks. ○ Understand and properly use all bar equipment, from coffee machines to cocktail tools. ○ Be aware of allergen information for each menu item and ensure guests are informed if needed. ○ Prepare cocktails and hot beverages to the company’s set standards and recipes. ○ Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety Policy and maintain confidentiality where required. Service Standards: ○ Maintain proper stock rotation and ensure stock security, reporting any missing items immediately. ○ Log all wastage and report any issues with stock to the Head bartender or upper management. ○ Never leave the bar unattended, and treat the bar’s stock responsibly, maintaining its integrity.

Overall responsibilities: ○ To ensure all kitchen surfaces (and floors) and kept clean, sanitized and organised at all times. ○ To collect, wash and dry all cooking utensils, tools, pots, pans, tableware, glassware, etc. ○ To maintain a tidy kitchen/working section during your shift and being thoughtful of those working in the following shift. ○ Ensuring the rubbish bins are emptied and taken out in a timely manner to avoid clutter. Health, Safety and Hygiene ○ Support completing company checklists diligently and in a timely manner. ○ To ensure that all health & safety policies, hygiene processes and company systems are followed – you are responsible to flag anything that could affect yours or another team member’s (or customer’s) wellbeing to your manager immediately. ○ To ensure that all food/ingredients stock is managed following a FIFO (first in first out) system.

Ensure that Food Safety and Hygiene practices within the kitchen are of the highest’s standards. - Help to create a family feeling in the restaurant by communicating and building great relationship with FOH and BOH teams. - Ensure that sections and other kitchen areas are deep cleaned on a regular basis and recordings been made accordingly. - Support all management team in any areas where needed. - Report for your shift so that you are ready to work the moment that your shift time starts, wearing clean uniform and looking presentable.
