You will be responsible for taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customers have an enjoyable dining experience. The role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong focus on customer service. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Service: Greet customers as they arrive, provide them with menus, and answer questions about the menu, including specials or promotions.
  • Order Taking: Accurately and efficiently take food and drink orders. Suggest menu items to customers based on their preferences.
  • Serving Food & Beverages: Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely and courteous manner. Ensure all orders are correct and complete.
  • Monitoring Customer Needs: Check in with customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, refill drinks, and address any concerns promptly.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear empty plates, glasses, and silverware from tables. Ensure dining areas are clean and properly set up for new guests.
  • Cash Handling: Present checks, take payment, and provide accurate change. Use a POS (Point of Sale) system to process transactions.
  • Cooperation: Work with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Cleaning: Help maintain a clean and organized dining area, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and ensuring the restaurant meets health and safety standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to deliver excellent service and resolve any customer issues.
  • Upselling: Encourage customers to purchase additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks to increase sales.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Customer Service Skills: Friendly, approachable, and attentive to customers’ needs.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with customers, kitchen staff, and team members.
  • Multitasking Ability: Can handle multiple tables at once and juggle tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring orders are correct and food is served as requested.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays of food for long periods.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns with a calm and professional attitude.

Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential.
  • Bar experience will be a plus.
