An established but fast-growing Distribution Company. Due to expanding our Business, a new job position has become available as a Warehouse Supervisor:
You will be responsible for the following:
-Take full day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of the warehouse operations.
-Supervise picking, packing and dispatch to ensure all orders leave accurately and on time.
-Lead, support and organise warehouse operatives, setting clear
expectations and maintaining high standards.
-Liaising with Sales on a day-to-day basis regarding current orders & due dispatches
-Work alongside the team on the warehouse floor to ensure workloads are completed efficiently. This will involve assisting with pulling orders & getting them ready for shipment
-Assist with unloading incoming containers and working with the team to put stock away in the correct locations.
-Assist with the daily loading of outbound transport, including pallets and parcel shipments for external carriers.
-Maintain accurate stock control through cycle counts and regular checks.
-Investigate and resolve picking errors, stock discrepancies, and
operational issues.
-Identify and implement improvements to warehouse layout, workflow and productivity.
-Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
-Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
-Communicate operational issues and performance updates to the Directors.
About You:
This is a leadership role for someone who wants responsibility, structure, and the opportunity to improve systems — not just manage the day. You will have to have a good understanding of written & spoken English. Be able to work as part as a team & alone. We are a fast-paced distribution company, so candidates should be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required.
Licence/Certification:
· Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Required)
· Reach Forklift Double Deep (Preferred)
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm Friday 8am – 4pm. Overtime occasionally available
