Job Overview: We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our team on a temporary contract basis to help us fill urgent roles. You will also help support new hires as they settle into the company. This is a key role within our recruitment project, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable speaking to people and can confidently represent our company. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct interviews with candidates for urgent roles, via Zoom. • Clearly explain job roles and responsibilities to prospective candidates. • Evaluate candidates based on their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for the role. • Source and identify suitable candidates for available roles. • Support new recruits as they integrate into the company, ensuring they settle in smoothly. • Follow company policies and ensure candidates understand Gain Grounds’ expectations. • Work independently, ensuring timely and effective recruitment across the project. • Keep track of the recruitment process and progress of candidates. Requirements: • Confident speaker with fluent English (both written and verbal). • A background in customer service, sales, or any role where speaking with new people is a daily occurrence. • Must have a laptop with a webcam and microphone, as Zoom will be used for interviews. • Access to a completely quiet workspace to conduct interviews and handle recruitment tasks. • No prior recruitment experience required – full training will be provided. • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Contract Details: • This is a temporary contract for 30 days, with the possibility of extension. • The hourly pay rate is £16.83, above the average for similar roles. • You will be expected to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the possibility of working additional hours as needed.
