Trenchless Construction Specialist In this newly created role, you will be an intergral part of a growing team supporting an the ever increasing global demand for energy and water. This position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our clients design, build and maintain energy and water pipeline systems worldwide. The position also offers you the ability to grow a technical practice area with our global group and to attract and mentor additional staff as required. Following projects from concept to construction, you will be responsible for developing and implementing field exploration and laboratory testing programs, conducting geotechnical and numerical analyses for trenchless installations, preparing geotechnical data, HDD and micro tunnelling design, preparation of baseline reports, and developing trenchless related project specifications for pipeline projects. Remit and responsibilities will include; • Design of HDD installations and micro tunnelling., • Prepare and review technical reports, data reports and baseline reports., • Complete engineering analysis and prepare design calculations., • Prepare design drawings and construction specifications, • Share technical knowledge across geographical boundaries to foster innovative project solutions., • Drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office and personal environments. We would be delighted to hear from self-motivated professionals with a successful track record in Trenchless Engineering with a good blend of the following;, • Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering Degree., • Management of design assignments in HDD, including analysis of installation and operational stresses in the pipeline, , equipment and easement requirements, geologic processes, and rig operational requirements will contribute to your success., • Experience with design and construction projects as well as field soil and rock classification., • Experience of developing and participating in field assignments, including observation of explorations (soil and rock, test pits, CPT probes, geophysical testing) and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring., • Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (C.Eng MICE)., • Established field construction experience with HDD operations., • Design assignment experience in, pipe jacking and tunnelling #-LINM1 London|Greater London|United Kingdom Birmingham|West Midlands|United Kingdom Leeds|West Yorkshire|United Kingdom Manchester|Greater Manchester|United Kingdom Birmingham|West Midlands|United Kingdom Civil and Structural Water Joining Jacobs not only connects you locally but globally.
