What you’ll be doing Your time will be split between looking after the retail store and providing booked beauty treatments. What we’re looking for • Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, or equivalent, • Professional beauty treatment experience, • Strong knowledge of skincare and ingredients, • Experience and confidence working with Black, African and other melanin rich skin tones, • Understanding of concerns including hyperpigmentation, post inflammatory pigmentation, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness, • Excellent customer service and communication skills, • Comfortable recommending and selling skincare products, • High standards of hygiene and professionalism, • Reliable, organised and confident working independently, • Commercially minded and comfortable working towards sales targets Experience with facial treatments, skin analysis, lash treatments or facial massage would be particularly welcome. The person we’re looking for We want someone warm, knowledgeable and confident who can make customers feel comfortable asking questions about their skin. You should enjoy both sides of the role. On a quiet treatment day, you should be happy engaging customers, recommending products and looking after the store. When a treatment is booked, you should be confident switching into therapist mode and delivering an excellent client experience. Most importantly, we want someone who understands that skincare isn’t one size fits all and can confidently work with customers across different skin tones and concerns.
