We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pedicure Technician to join our growing beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality foot care, including nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, and polish application. You will ensure clients receive a relaxing and professional experience while adhering to hygiene standards and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide a range of professional pedicure services, including nail trimming, filing, shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, and moisturising treatments. - Apply nail polish, gel polish, and other nail treatments according to clients' preferences. - Offer foot massages as part of the pedicure service to promote relaxation. - Advise clients on aftercare and recommend appropriate products for foot and nail care. - Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations. - Sterilise and sanitise equipment after each client session. - Ensure client comfort and satisfaction, delivering exceptional customer service. - Stay updated with current pedicure trends, techniques, and new treatments in the industry. Key Skills & Requirements: - NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification. - Proven experience as a Pedicure Technician or Nail Technician. - Excellent understanding of hygiene practices and infection control. - Ability to work with different nail conditions and provide solutions for common foot issues (e.g., cracked heels, ingrown nails). - Strong attention to detail with an artistic flair for nail polish application and nail art. - Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy salon environment. - Knowledge of retail products for nail and foot care is a plus.
