Pay: £35,000.00 - £38,000.00 per year Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Patisserie Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, baking, and food safety, with a keen eye for detail and presentation. This role involves creating exquisite desserts and pastries that delight our guests, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency are maintained at all times. Responsibilities • Prepare and produce a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in accordance with established recipes and standards., • Assist in the development of new pastry menus and seasonal specials to enhance customer experience., • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to during food preparation and handling., • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section, including equipment and work surfaces., • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy periods., • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing., • Assist with training junior staff members in pastry techniques and food safety procedures., • Contribute to maintaining a positive, professional work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement. Skills • Proven experience in food production, particularly in baking or pastry arts within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting., • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary principles, and presentation skills., • Excellent understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices., • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail., • Creative flair for developing innovative dessert recipes that appeal to diverse tastes., • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously., • Prior experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
