As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, ensuring that our menu is executed flawlessly while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations., • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards., • Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences., • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen., • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols., • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction., • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels., • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality., • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting., • Strong background in food production, preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques., • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively., • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality., • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment., • Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills to motivate team members., • Culinary qualifications or certifications from recognised institutions are preferred but not mandatory., • Company pension, • Discounted or free food, • Employee discount, • Free parking, • Hemel Hempstead HP1 2RZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
