We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, ensuring that our menu is executed flawlessly while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
    Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting.
  • Strong background in food production, preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills to motivate team members.
  • Culinary qualifications or certifications from recognised institutions are preferred but not mandatory.

    Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
