Job Title: SIA Door Supervisor Date of Next Event: 31/05/2025 Location: Hemel Hempstead (various venues including pubs and clubs) ** Event:** He He Hemel Comedy Club (monthly comedy nights) Pay: £14.50 per Hour Hours: Typically 6:30pm–12:30am) We’re looking for professional, SIA-licensed Door Supervisors to join the team at He He Hemel Comedy Club. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing, well-regarded local comedy night that brings in a warm, diverse audience and delivers a relaxed but professionally run event. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and performers throughout the evening. - Checking tickets and managing entry, including ID checks when necessary. - Monitoring the crowd during the event and being alert to any potential disturbances. - Assisting with the safe and respectful removal of any disruptive individuals, should the need arise. - Providing a welcoming and approachable presence—this is a fun, social event and we value friendly professionalism. - Liaising with venue staff and event organisers as needed, including during emergencies. You must have: - A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence - Excellent communication and people skills - The ability to stay calm and act responsibly in high-pressure situations - Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
