Night Manager — Lead Overnight with Care, Clarity, and Confidence The Opportunity We’re looking for a Night Manager who ensures guests sleep soundly, the hotel runs smoothly, and the night team feels supported and trusted. What You’ll Do • Lead the Night Team: Set priorities, brief colleagues, and ensure high standards across the shift., • Keep Operations Smooth: Oversee front desk, security, housekeeping coordination, and maintenance requests overnight., • Delight Guests: Respond promptly and professionally to requests, queries, and concerns., • Manage Incidents Calmly: Follow safety and emergency procedures; contact the appropriate authorities when needed., • Own the Night Audit: Complete reconciliations and prepare accurate reports for senior management., • Protect Safety & Compliance: Ensure policies, health & safety, and security protocols are followed consistently., • Be a Careful Custodian: Record and account for overnight spend and any variances., • Coordinate Across Departments: Flag issues and follow through so day teams can act quickly., • Coach & Guide: Support, train, and develop night colleagues to perform at their best., • Keep Clear Records: Maintain precise logs of activities, incidents, and handover notes. What You’ll Bring • Experience in hotel operations (nights or front office leadership is a plus)., • A calm, solutions-focused approach and sound judgement., • Strong people skills—fair, clear, and dependable leadership., • Confidence with night audit processes and basic systems/reporting., • A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow (and improve) procedures., • Flexibility to work overnight shifts and support weekends/bank holidays as needed.
