General Manager – The Standard Pub Location: The Standard Pub Position: Full-Time Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead The Standard Pub. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven experience building high-performing teams, and a solid background in both bar operations and gastro-style food-led venues. Key Responsibilities Lead, recruit, train, and develop a strong front and back-of-house team. Oversee daily operations across bar and gastro-style food service. Maintain high standards in service, food quality, and presentation. Drive sales, profitability, and overall venue performance. Manage rotas, labour costs, stock control, and supplier relationships. Lead cocktail development and train staff in advanced mixology. Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations.
