The Company Nutriseed is on a mission to make healthy living easy. We manufacture our own cold-pressed juices, functional shots, collagen products and wellness bundles from our Reading facility, serving customers across the UK through DTC, TikTok Shop, Amazon and wholesale. We are growing quickly and investing heavily in operations, equipment and systems. As we scale, operational excellence is critical. Cleanliness, compliance, production accuracy and warehouse control are non-negotiable. We are now hiring a Production & Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day factory and warehouse standards. The Role This is a hands-on leadership role based on the factory floor. You will be responsible for ensuring that: • Orders are dispatched correctly and on time, • The factory is clean, organised and audit-ready at all times, • Production runs efficiently and safely, • Machinery is cleaned and maintained correctly, • Freezer and temperature controls are strictly managed, • Stock is accurate and well controlled You will report directly to the Founder. Key Responsibilities Production Management • Oversee daily production schedules and staffing, • Ensure machinery is cleaned to the required standards, • Maintain written cleaning SOPs, • Manage filling line hygiene and maintenance logs, • Ensure freezer protocols are followed and logged, • Monitor product quality and batch accuracy Hygiene & Compliance • Maintain daily cleaning checklists (signed and verified), • Ensure the factory is audit-ready at all times, • Maintain chemical and cleaning tool inventory, • Implement and enforce hygiene discipline, • Conduct weekly internal factory audits Warehouse Management • Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, • Ensure stock accuracy and rotation (FIFO), • Maintain an organised warehouse layout, • Oversee frozen stock management, • Work closely with procurement on stock levels Team Leadership • Lead daily production briefings, • Hold team accountable to standards, • Identify training gaps, • Manage performance issues early, • Create a culture of ownership and pride in the factory Escalation & Reporting • Flag operational risks immediately, • Provide weekly operational summary to Founder, • Proactively identify inefficiencies, • Ensure no hygiene or production issue goes unreported Required Experience • 3+ years managing production in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing, • Strong knowledge of hygiene and cleaning standards, • Experience managing small production teams, • Hands-on experience with filling lines or similar machinery, • Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes, • Experience preparing for BRC or SALSA audits, • Food safety qualification (Level 3 or above), • Experience in fast-growing SME environment
