Take over an established Thursday evening of 1-to-1 singing students at our Haslemere music school - with 8 students ready and waiting - and two more evenings available to build alongside it. ---- What's on offer • Thursdays, 3:30pm to 8pm: 8 existing 30-minute students (capacity 9)*, • Mondays and Fridays, 3:30pm to 8pm: new evenings we'll promote to help fill your diary, • Take one evening or several, • 1-to-1 lessons for children, teens and adults, beginner to Grade 8 *Current student numbers may change before you start. ---- Pay £12.50-£14 per 30-minute lesson (£25-£28/hr). Paid monthly, 5 working days after month end. Late cancellations and no-shows (under 24 hours' notice) are paid in full. ---- The teaching rooms • Digital piano in every room, plus audio playback for backing tracks, • Students self-book into your teaching block, so you're not chasing bookings, • How you teach is up to you ---- How it works • Once students are booked, you teach them or send a qualified substitute, • Paid performance opportunities at our Student Showcases and Performance Weeks, • Keep your wider practice: teach privately, gig and work elsewhere alongside us, • As we grow, our teachers hear about new students first - including at our Guildford and Milford music schools ---- About us We're a not-for-profit contemporary music school and Music School of the Year 2025. We make musicians and communities - every penny goes back into music education. ---- You'll be a great fit if you • are a confident contemporary performer (pop, rock, musical theatre and more), able to teach beginners to Grade 8 (e.g. ABRSM / Trinity / RSL / LCM), • have at least a year's teaching experience with children and/or adults, • value confidence, enjoyment and progress over flawless performance, • love supporting your students as they take to the stage ---- To get started, you'll need • Your own transport, • Self-employed status - we can point you in the right direction if you're new to it, • Public liability insurance (included with Musicians' Union membership), • An Enhanced DBS - we'll process one if needed
