Job Title: Physical Chemist – Global Agrochemical Company Contract: 12 months (likely to be extended) Location: Bracknell Salary: £20.47 per hour SRG are working with a global Agrochemical company that are seeking a Physical Chemist to join their busy team. Essential Requirements: • A PhD or good undergraduate degree in chemistry or a related discipline, • A practical understanding of commonly-used analytical and chromatographic techniques and technologies, • Understanding of how the physical properties of compounds influence their behaviour in biological systems, • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to critically analyse experimental data, • Ability to design and deliver new assays, methods and/or approaches to overcome difficult scientific problems, • Evidence of working closely with fellow scientists in multi-disciplinary project teams, • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, • Ability to deliver high quality experimental results while working to tight deadlines, • Excellent communication skills

The group conducts research on the ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Elimination) behaviour of active ingredients (AI) within target and non-target species, enabling understanding of critical performance characteristics such as selectivity, resistance and translation to the field.
