Job Title – Construction Site Supervisor Location – Bracknell Contract Length – 6 months, likely to be extended a further 18 months Pay Rate - £34.77 per hour via umbrella Mandatory requirements - SSSTS or SMSTS certification, CSCS Supervisory Card (M&E relevant) Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background to oversee installation works on a major site in Bracknell. This role will focus on the day-to-day supervision and coordination of M&E activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Supervise mechanical and electrical installation works including HVAC, pipework, plumbing, electrical containment, cabling, and plant installation, • Ensure all works are completed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and RAMS, • Monitor site progress against programme and report delays or technical issues, • Maintain accurate daily site records and progress updates, • Enforce health & safety procedures and stop unsafe works where required, • Attend and support toolbox talks and task briefings, • Conduct quality inspections, including first-fix and second-fix checks, • Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities, • Oversee snagging, defect resolution, and re-work, • Coordinate with site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades, • Ensure correct materials, equipment, and plant are available and compliant Requirements Essential: • SSSTS or SMSTS certification, • CSCS Supervisory Card (M&E relevant), • Mechanical or Electrical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent), • Proven experience supervising M&E works on construction sites, • First Aid at Work, • Additional site certifications (e.g. confined spaces, hot works, HV/LV awareness) Skills & Experience • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, • Strong coordination and organisational ability, • Effective communication and leadership skills, • Proactive, problem-solving mindset, • High attention to detail and quality standards Working Environment • Site-based role in a live construction environment, • Work may take place in plant rooms, risers, and restricted spaces, • Flexibility required to meet project timelines
