BCNO combines two long-standing osteopathic educational institutions - The European School of Osteopathy based in Maidstone and The British College of Osteopathic Medicine based in London. We are seeking a Registry Manager to lead the delivery of effective, compliant, and student-focused Registry services across the BCNO Group’s Kent and London campuses. The role oversees the full student lifecycle, including student records, assessment administration, attendance and engagement monitoring, and regulatory reporting. It requires 3 days a week in Kent and 2 days a week in London until 2028. Key responsibilities: Student Records & Data Management • Maintain accurate student records across the full student lifecycle, taking responsibility for data integrity within the student records system., • Oversee the archiving of student records, ensuring compliance with Registry policy, GDPR requirements, and audit expectations., • Manage data quality processes and checks, archiving, and internal and external data returns., • Produce and coordinate internal and partner-facing Registry reports and data returns for senior management, academic teams, and validating partners., • Support Registry processes for Plymouth-validated programmes and international provision., • Oversee student attendance and engagement monitoring ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements., • Manage and deliver UKVI compliance and escalate risks appropriately., • Identify and flag non-engagement issues, working with academic teams to support interventions., • Manage assessment processes including coursework, examinations (written, practical and clinical) and assessment boards with academic teams, • Manage administration of assessment outcomes, including the publication of marks and feedback and dissemination to validating partners and Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs) ensuring accurate progression and award data in accordance with academic regulations and validating partner requirements., • Administer Extenuating Circumstances requests with Programme Lead in line with academic regulations., • Maintain assessment and moderation records aligned with institutional and validating partner requirements., • Oversee the submission of coursework through Turnitin, ensuring processes are applied consistently and in line with institutional requirements., • Attend internal and external assessment boards, ensuring accurate presentation of student data and outcomes., • Produce and provide accurate data returns to external bodies (e.g. OfS, HESA, validating partners), ensuring compliance with reporting requirements., • Act as the primary contact for Registry-related student enquiries, • Coordinate student administrative requests (e.g. references, confirmations of study, tenancy-related queries)., • Work closely with academic teams, professional services, and external partners to resolve Registry issues., • Lead service improvements and contribute to Registry and institutional projects, • Recruit, train, and manage the invigilator team., • Support statutory and regulatory reporting, including HESA returns., • Previous experience of working as a Senior Registry Officer or Registry Manager, • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) grade C in Maths and English, • Experience of working in the education sector, preferably higher education, • Experience of working within a regulatory framework, • Experience of working with external bodies relating to higher education e.g. validating partners (Desirable), • Strong administrative and data management skills, • Experience of using a student records system (e.g. Unit-e or equivalent), • Effective IT skills with experience in the use of all Microsoft packages, • Uses sound judgment to make good decisions based on information gathered and analysed., • Considers all pertinent facts and alternatives before deciding on the most appropriate action., • Interacts with people effectively.
