1. Planning and Coordination: - Collaborating with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences. - Creating event schedules, layouts, and seating arrangements. - Coordinating with kitchen staff, service teams, and vendors to ensure seamless execution. 2. Team Supervision: - Managing and training banquet staff, including servers and setup crews. - Assigning duties and ensuring the team adheres to high service standards. 3. Event Setup and Execution: - Overseeing the setup of tables, chairs, decorations, and audiovisual equipment. - Ensuring everything is in place and meets the client’s specifications. 4. Client Relations: - Acting as the main point of contact during events. - Addressing client concerns or last-minute changes with professionalism. 5. Budget Management: - Preparing cost estimates and managing the banquet budget. - Ensuring the event stays within financial constraints while delivering quality service. 6. Health and Safety Compliance: - Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained. - Adhering to fire and safety regulations during event setups. 7. Post-Event Activities: - Conducting a post-event review to gather feedback. - Overseeing cleanup and ensuring the venue is ready for the next use.
