Culture Marked is a global communications and translation agency providing comprehensive language services in over 25 languages (translation, interpretation, and dubbing). We operate as a platform for global connection, mentorship, and creative project development. The HUMANS BEING Project: Your Area of Ownership The HUMANS BEING Project is our short video series exploring the shared absurdity of global life, passion-driven initiative run parallel to our core business operations. This is a 100% remote position offering substantial autonomy and direct access to small business operations. We are looking for self-motivated individuals eager to manage and drive a global initiative from concept to viral distribution. Time Commitment: Approximately 3–5 hours per week for 8–12 weeks (flexible around academic schedules). Compensation: This is an unpaid educational experience designed primarily for the benefit of the participant, in accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor’s internship guidelines. For work experience and credit (with potential for performance-based stipend - to be discussed). Academic Credit: This internship can be structured for academic credit depending on your university’s policies and requirements. What You Will Gain (Mentorship & Career Focus) This role is structured as a direct mentorship opportunity with founder Nawal Kramer (multilingual translator, voiceover artist, and language teacher). You will be empowered to take ownership of the project's direction while gaining professional insights that traditional internships often lack: Hands-On Learning: Experience running a small global media business, including legal, technical, and creative aspects of translation and media. Tangible Portfolio: Build a body of work published on major social platforms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts). Professional Recognition: Receive a professional reference and résumé credit as a Global Communications Contributor (or specific title). Entrepreneurial Access: Learn how a language agency manages global contributors and creative partnerships. Core Responsibilities Participants may focus on one or more of the following areas: Multilingual Content Management: Transcribe, proofread, and subtitle global submissions. Video Editing: Stitch together clips for social-ready vertical videos. Social Media Strategy: Plan and schedule content for maximum reach. Global Outreach: Conduct grassroots campaigns to expand our global contributor base. Evaluation: Students may complete a short reflection or portfolio summary highlighting their learning outcomes and creative impact. Ideal Candidate Fields of Study: Communications, Film/Media, Languages, Translation, Journalism, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship. Skills: Strong organization, social media proficiency, video editing familiarity, or multilingual ability. Commitment: Reliable weekly engagement and interest in global storytelling.
