Responsibilities: • Provide legal representation to clients in all areas of family law, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, visitation rights, domestic violence, and spousal support cases., • Conduct client interviews to understand and assess their legal needs and develop effective strategies to achieve their goals., • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, and agreements., • Advocate for clients in court, presenting evidence, and arguing cases effectively., • Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on current laws and interpret complex legal issues related to family law., • Negotiate settlements in a manner that is in the best interest of the client., • Collaborate with legal staff and other professionals to ensure cases are handled efficiently., • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school., • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney., • Active member of the State Bar in good standing., • Proven experience in litigation and court procedures., • Excellent negotiation and communication skills., • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills to understand complex legal issues., • Proficiency in legal research tools and software., • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas., • Ability to handle high caseloads and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Demonstrable ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards., • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on changes in family law.
