Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, upholding high standards of quality and presentation., • Assist customers with selecting and purchasing our delicious Italian pastries, light fare, pizza, and sandwiches., • Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized counter area., • Ensure the bakery and coffee station are well-stocked, clean, and inviting., • Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and positive experience for every guest., • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. As a Muz Muz Barista, you will be responsible for: • Setting up the espresso machine and sinks to ensure DOH compliance., • Warmly greeting customers and fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in our plant-based cafe., • Crafting high-quality espresso-based coffees, mushroom lattes, and other unique beverages, accommodating customer requests., • Completing daily cleaning tasks to maintain a pristine and hygienic work environment., • Breakdown(if working a closing shift): cleaning and drying any used dishes from the day as well as resetting everything to ensure a smooth opening shift for the next day.

The Barista will greet guests, take orders, prepare, and serve hot and cold beverages, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. This position has an hourly rate of $17.00 + Tips. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Greet every guest with a friendly smile, positive attitude and takes their order if necessary, • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, • Provide excellent service and build rapport with guests by learning names and favorite drinks, • Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, • Stock and replenish supplies as needed, • Answer guest questions about menu items and ingredients, • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS • 2 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar restaurant or café setting, • Positive, engaging, and energetic personality, • Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision, • Very high attention to detail, • Sensitive to cultural nuances, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal on English, • Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment, • Excellent people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders, • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies, • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, • Multi-lingual is a plus
