This dual role is responsible for preparing quality coffee and beverages, as well as managing transactions at the register. Key Responsibilities: Barista Duties: Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure beverages meet quality standards for presentation and taste. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including equipment and tools. Refill and rotate ingredients and supplies as needed. Cashier Duties: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system. Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently and accurately. Issue receipts and provide correct change. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.

Manage Inventory:- Restock cups, syrups, milk, and other ingredients as needed. Inform management when supplies are low. Cash Handling:- Handle transactions accurately using the register or POS system. Process payments and give correct change or receipts. Team Collaboration:- Communicate with coworkers to keep service flowing smoothly. Support other staff during busy hours (like helping with dishes or tables if needed). Stay Knowledgeable:- Stay updated on seasonal drinks, menu changes, and promotions. Learn about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and café culture

About Common Hours… Common Hours is our second location where our first shop is in SOHO, Manhattan with the different name. Common Hours is located on 35 W 35th Street in Manhattan and we expect open by beginning of beginning of August. We will need many hands from training baristas to coffee professionals.
