Shaken or Stirred; Straight up, On the Rocks or with a Twist – A Bartenders’ primary task is to provide for an exceptional guest experience while aiding in their libations adventure. The Bartender will skillfully execute the sharing of food & beverage item preparation by suggestion and guest preference, input desired items into the POS orders, answers questions about menu items, practices upselling techniques, effectively collects payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats guests, and assists with customer service and cleaning. Job Description • Provide for an exceptional guest experience, • Effectively communicate food & beverage menu offerings providing for explanation of preparation; providing recommendation as needed, • Confirm all applicable food allergies, • Accurately and effectively communicates guest food & beverage orders ensuring flawless execution, • At the bar or the restaurant, mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests according to company specifications, • Make recommendations based on the tastes and preferences of your customers, • Serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with business guidelines, • Customers' identification and age requirements must be verified, • Combine conventional and innovative cocktail recipes, • Customers' payments are processed accurately and timely, • Glasses and bar utensils should be clean, • Prepare cash deposits and record and balance cash receipts, • Throughout their shift, they should keep tabs open with customers permission, • Create a professionally enticing atmosphere by establishing a rapport with all consumers, • Clean bar areas and empty trash as necessary, • Treat all guests with decorum, dignity and respect., • Ensure all guests are enjoying their dining experience, • Properly record and charge items via POS system; adhere to all cash handling policies and procedures, • Complete required side-work as needed, • Perform duties as reasonably assigned Requirements • Prior experience working in a fast paced, high end Corporate chain environment providing extraordinary guest experience, • Preferably at least four (4) years of high-end luxury bartending experience preferred, • Bartending/Mixology certification preferred, • Excellent service orientated attitude, • Excellent interpersonal skills to partner with colleagues under pressure., • Perform work assignments with minimal supervision, • Ability to accurately handle money and manage a point-of-sale system., • A high school diploma is required., • Fluency in English language; additional language skills and knowledge preferred, • Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant/hotel preferred, • Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift, • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, • Bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving fast without discomfort, • Must be able to work on nights, weekends, and holidays, • TIPs/ServSafe/etc. training preferred We are committed to extending equal opportunity in employment to all qualified candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our organization.
