The candidate will have strong communications skills and have an ability to consult with clients about color, shapes, design and nail care needs. The candidate requires confidence and the need to be a caring and kind person, patient with client needs and through the artistic process. Responsibilities: - Guest Service - Welcoming guests and assisting them with their service selection and color selection - Artistic Process - Consulting the client through the artistic process - Service Expertise - Perform nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, gel X extensions, BIAB gel overlay, advanced nail art and offer advice on nail care and recommended products - Time Management - Ability to work with within the time limits provided - Empathy - Taking an understanding approach to guests needs - Care - Caring for tools and equipment as well as people and the place you work at - Professionalism - Upholding standards including sterilization, cleanliness and teamwork - Client Relations - Building a regular clientele through requests, revisits and members - Working on influencers, VIP guests, editors, fashion shows and photo shoots - Experience: - 3+ years of salon experience as a Nail Artist or in a similar role preferred - Experience with cuticle work, shaping, color consultation, application, advanced, precise and intricate nail designs - Proficiency in a variety of nail techniques including gels, Gel X, BIAB overlay - NYS Nail Specialty or Trainee license - A passion for beauty services and beauty industry - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients - Ability to provide exceptional customer service - Special consideration will be given to those who have experience training others Work somewhere that blends beauty, hospitality & style.
