  Do you want to help design the next generation of materials used for batteries, space exploration or water purification? Are you interested in getting a PhD? A position is available in Prof. Jacob Gissinger's group at Stevens Institute of Technology (nanocipher.org), for Fall 2026. The research will involve computational design of polymeric systems, such as polymer electrolytes, or high-performance polymers and composites for use in extreme environments. Prerequisites Applicant must not have a PhD. Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree before Fall 2026. American citizenship required for some projects. Why Stevens?
