Adventure Awaits Childcare in Parsippany, New Jersey is seeking a warm, energetic, and reliable individual to join our team as a Toddler Teacher. We are a play-based, nurturing program that focuses on hands-on learning, positive guidance, and creating a joyful environment for children aged 1–3. About the Role: The Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that fosters each child’s growth. You will collaborate closely with the Acting Director/Head Pre-K teacher (Ms. Meaghan) and classroom assistants to maintain daily routines and implement Creative Curriculum activities, ensuring all NJ state licensing requirements are met. Responsibilities: • Plan and implement engaging, toddler-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with Creative Curriculum., • Maintain a warm, nurturing, and consistent classroom atmosphere., • Ensure the safety and supervision of all children at all times., • Handle diapering, toileting, handwashing, and maintain sanitation and classroom cleanliness., • Document observations, incidents, and daily notes through ProCare., • Communicate professionally and warmly with parents and caregivers., • Follow all NJ DCF licensing regulations and center policies., • Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive, supportive classroom community. Qualifications: • Experience working with toddlers is required., • CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education is preferred., • Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is a plus., • Must be patient, reliable, and genuinely passionate about early childhood., • Ability to lift 35 lbs, get down to floor level, and participate in active play.
