We are seeking a Media Strategy Analyst to support a high-performing Category Strategy team within a leading media organization. This role is highly focused on audience measurement, syndicated research, and insight development, with a strong emphasis on hands-on proficiency in tools like Nielsen nPower and Comscore. This is a fast-paced, execution-focused contract role, where the ideal candidate can quickly step in to analyze audience data, generate actionable insights, and support strategic recommendations for ad sales and client initiatives. Media Strategy Analyst Key Responsibilities: • Utilize Nielsen nPower, Comscore, and other syndicated research tools to analyze audience behavior, media consumption, and competitive positioning, • Extract and translate data into clear, business-forward insights and actionable recommendations, • Build audience profiles, segment analyses, and ranking frameworks (“rankers”) to support sales strategy and RFP responses, • Apply appropriate indices, metrics, and methodologies to validate insights and strengthen storytelling, • Support the development of sales narratives, go-to-market materials, and strategic positioning, • Partner cross-functionally with research, sales, and strategy teams to deliver insights that align with client objectives, • Work efficiently within tight timelines, contributing immediately to team output and workload demands Media Strategy Analyst Required Qualifications • 2–4 years of experience in media research, ad sales strategy, audience insights, or media analytics, • Strong hands-on proficiency with Nielsen nPower and Comscore (required), • Experience working with syndicated research tools and applying them to real business use cases, • Solid understanding of media metrics, audience measurement, and industry terminology, • Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights that influence business decisions, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment with a focus on speed and accuracy, • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain methodologies, insights, and recommendations What Success Looks Like • Can quickly and confidently navigate Nielsen and Comscore tools without heavy ramp-up, • Delivers insight-driven outputs (not just data pulls) that directly support recommendations, • Applies the right metrics, indices, and modules to strengthen analysis, • Effectively supports team workload by producing accurate, timely, and actionable insights, • Demonstrates ability to influence decisions using audience/viewership data Perks and Benefits: • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance., • Life Insurance., • 401(k) Program., • Commuter Benefit., • eLearning and Ongoing Training., • Education Reimbursement., • Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
