Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in various aspects of electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Electrician Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes • Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues, • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, • Install and repair low voltage systems, such as fire alarms and security systems, • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete electrical installations in new construction projects, • Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely, • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in a commercial or industrial setting, • Proficient in working with both low voltage and high voltage systems, • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment, • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to apply it in daily work, • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints, • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods, • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment specific to the trade, • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget, • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately, • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with clients Schedule: 5 Day a week 8-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37.00 - $48.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance
