Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in various aspects of electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Electrician Responsibilities:-
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Install and repair low voltage systems, such as fire alarms and security systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete electrical installations in new construction projects
- Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
- Proficient in working with both low voltage and high voltage systems
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to apply it in daily work
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
Skills: - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment specific to the trade
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with clients

Pay: $37.00 - $48.00 per hour
