Quest Homes LLC is a real estate company focused on providing high-quality furnished rentals and property management services in Queens, NY. *We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Runner/Tasker/Handyman/Handywoman to join our team. (off the books job but paid through Zelle, NOT cash): We are looking for someone local who preferably lives within 10-15 minutes of this area. Ideal person we are looking for are stay-at home dads/moms, college students or recent grads, handymen, veterans, or retired active individuals looking to make extra money. I will be looking for 2 people to fill this role. Must be willing to conduct an initial interview over Zoom (video call) to meet me and answer a few questions. Second interview will be conducted at the home. ** If you are interested read instructions below: 1. You must send me a message on this app with the word “RUNNER”. And below that please add your name 2. Once you do that then I will message you back with next steps. Pay: I will pay $20/hour for tasks that will typically take 15 minutes to complete. MAX time I will need you at one time is 1-3 hours but most tasks will take you 15-30 minutes from start to finish. I will not be paying cash, I will be paying ideally through Zelle (or potentially Venmo). Hours: Flexible hours. May need you during the week and/or weekends. This person will be needed 1-3x/week depending on demand of tasks. Tasks included but not limited to: -Taking out garbage / recycling 1 to 2x per week -Quick repairs within home -Inventory checks -Property check ups -Detailed oriented individual -Organizing laundry into proper boxes -Shopping for items that need to be restored and delivering them to the home -Tasks are not limited to just the above. Requirements: -Must have a car * or easy transportation to the home. We do not pay for your transit. -Able to use technology such as Zoom, FaceTime, email, etc. -Can properly follow directions -Tech Savy and easily communicates over text or phone. -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -Ability to lift heavy objects (25lb or more), climb ladders, and handle physically demanding tasks. -Experience in running tasks is preferred but not required.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lead Paint Tester to join our growing team. The Lead Paint Tester will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify lead-based paint hazards. The ideal candidate will have experience using XRF analyzers, be comfortable working independently in the field, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and accuracy in reporting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in accordance with EPA, HUD, and NYC HPD standards. Use XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analyzers and other equipment to detect the presence of lead-based paint. Document inspection findings with accuracy, including photographs, data logs, and field notes. Prepare clear and thorough reports for clients and regulatory agencies. Communicate effectively with property owners, tenants, and property managers. Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE during all site visits. Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment. Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and testing procedures.
