Job Description Position Overview Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of finished product within a production and warehouse environment. This role spends the majority of the shift operating a stand-up Crown forklift to move pallets of the world’s best Greek yogurt, ensuring product accuracy, FIFO compliance, and proper order fulfillment for outbound shipments. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and accurate documentation for shipping and inventory control. Responsibilities & Duties · Operate a Crown stand-up forklift (non-reach) safely and efficiently within a warehouse and cooler for extended periods of time. · Move, stage, and load pallets of finished yogurt products for outbound shipments. · Prepare pallets for shipment, including wrapping pallets in plastic to ensure load stability and product protection. · Verify product accuracy by matching purchase orders, confirming quantities, and ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) compliance. · Verify and check date labels for accuracy and freshness prior to shipment. · Accurately complete and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outbound truck drivers. · Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and update transactions in the system. · Enter, review, and maintain inventory records using Tropos and/or ERP systems. · Accurately count, add, and subtract case quantities, reporting totals to accounting as required. · Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary warehouse and receiving area, including equipment, walls, racks (uprights and beams), fans, and floors. · Follow all company safety policies, food safety standards, and warehouse procedures at all times. · Occasionally operate a manual pallet jack to move pallets as needed. · Perform other warehouse or operational duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: · Proven experience operating a stand-up Crown forklift (non-reach). · Experience working in a refrigerated or cold storage warehouse environment preferred. · Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and complete documentation accurately. · Working knowledge of RF scanners and warehouse inventory processes. · Familiarity with Tropos and/or ERP systems preferred. · Strong attention to detail and ability to follow FIFO and quality control standards. · Basic math skills with the ability to accurately count, add, and subtract case Physical Requirements · Ability to work in a cold warehouse/cooler environment for several hours at a time. · Frequently required to sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch. · Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. · Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment throughout the shift. Work Environment · Production warehouse setting with exposure to hot and cold temperatures. · Moderate to high noise levels typical of warehouse and production environments. · Requires adherence to all safety, sanitation, and food manufacturing standards.
