Job Description Warehouse Specialist 1st Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Job Description The Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial role in the production and remanufacturing processes by performing tasks directed by the department Lead or Manager. The primary responsibilities include the disassembly and assembly of mechanical parts and testing of products. Responsibilities Track Stock: Monitor and log daily inventory movements using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Conduct Audits: Perform regular physical cycle counts and full inventory reconciliations. Receive Shipment: Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders to confirm correct quantities and condition. Resolve Errors: Investigate and fix discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Organize Layout: Optimize warehouse storage space for easy access, safety, and inventory rotation. Report Levels: Update management on low stock, damaged items, or slow-moving inventory. Essential Skills • Proficient in using basic hand tools and understanding their proper use., • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions., • Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools., • Ability to interpret visual aids and perform simple shop math., • Capability to complete data entry tasks utilizing PCs., • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Minimum grammar school education., • At least three years of mechanical experience in similar work., • Energetic, hardworking, and dependable., • Able to take direction and perform tasks based on instructional sheets. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment with a casual yet professional dress code. Employees should wear work boots, though steel toes are not required. Safety glasses and protective gloves are necessary when working with certain equipment. Occasionally, light physical effort is required, and employees may be asked to move to another production site as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chatsworth, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
