Job DescriptionAssembler – 2nd Shift Location: Baldwin Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Primary Purpose of Position The Assembler is responsible for assembling various metal fabricated parts according to customer specifications. This position contributes to continuous improvement efforts by making recommendations and assisting with the implementation of solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Job Responsibilities * Actively promote and maintain a safe work environment * Assemble metal fabricated parts using hand and power tools, including rubber mallets, rivet guns, clamps, and pliers * Produce parts as assigned by the supervisor or lead person, following the required production sequence * Accurately record all job-related information, including start and stop times, number of parts produced, job status, and location of finished parts * Complete all required safety checks * Perform periodic part inspections to ensure quality standards are met * Comply with all company policies and procedures * Immediately notify the supervisor or lead person of any problems, concerns, or questions * Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area * Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person Requirements & Qualifications Education: * High school diploma or equivalent Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of assembly experience preferred * Experience in a metal stamping or fabrication environment is strongly preferred Skills & Abilities: * Proficient in the use of hand tools, including rubber mallets, rivet guns, clamps, and pliers * Assertive, organized, and detail-oriented * Strong time management skills * Ability to work accurately and efficiently * Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist as needed to ensure smooth workflow Working Conditions * Factory/manufacturing environment * Overtime may be required * Use of required safety equipment is mandatory About SEEK Careers/Staffing You are a person with unique skills, experience and education.When you want to be heard and when you want to be matched with great career opportunities that are right for you, you can count on SEEK Careers/Staffing, Inc.
