Responsibilities • Assist in delivering engaging martial arts classes for students of varying ages and skill levels, • Support the lead instructor in maintaining class structure, safety, and energy, • Provide individual attention and feedback to students during training, • Help track student progress and communicate effectively, • Assist with school events, parents night out, belt testing, and student milestone activities, • Uphold El Dojo NYC's values of respect, discipline, and growth at all times Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching or assisting martial arts classes in a structured school or program setting, • Demonstrated experience working with and teaching children (ages 3–17 preferred), • Proficiency in at least one martial arts discipline; multi-style experience is a plus, • Strong communication and classroom management skills, • Reliable, punctual, and professional, • Must be available weekday afternoons, evenings, weekends, • Background check required What We're NOT Looking For: This is not a fighter or competitor role.
