Silky NYC is looking for a reliable, experienced hairstylist for the holiday season. Choose one location: Harlem or Bed-Stuy. Main services are traditional sew-ins and K-tips. This is on-call work. You’ll be notified the night before if you’re needed the next day. Commission is 50/50. Reliability is non-negotiable. Once you accept a booking, you’re expected to arrive on time and complete the full appointment. No last-minute excuses like “I have to pick up my child” or “my bird flew out the window.” Please make sure childcare and other personal arrangements are covered before accepting a booking. Piercing Variety: We offer a wide range of piercings, so versatility is a plus! ✦ Skills & Experience We welcome piercers with a broad range of experience, particularly those comfortable performing: Dermal and surface piercings Oral piercings A wide variety of standard body piercings Other specialized or advanced piercings Experience performing genital piercings is a major plus, but not required! ✦ Pay & Earning Potential We offer a commission-based pay structure, with the option to receive daily payouts if preferred. On our busiest and most profitable shifts, piercers can earn approximately $350–$600 in a single day, depending on client volume and sales. Earnings vary based on the shift, customer traffic, and individual performance. ✦ Schedule & Flexibility Our current schedule for this position includes: Days off: Tuesdays, plus two weekends off per month Friday & Saturday: 12 PM–9 PM All other days: 12 PM–8 PM Alternative scheduling arrangements may be discussed.
