We are looking to hire a skilled cake decorator to design and decorate cakes according to customers' specifications and preferences. The cake decorator's responsibilities include taking customers' cake orders, recording instructions and special requests, providing suitable recommendations on cake decorations and designs, and packaging bakery items. You should also be able to store all bakery products in accordance with proper product handling procedures to ensure freshness and prevent contamination. To be successful as a cake decorator, you should keep abreast of the latest styles, techniques, and trends in cake decoration. Ultimately, a top-notch cake decorator should be able to demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Must be motivated and experienced, in doing custom cake orders, must be able to do fondant designs and regular cake designs. Must be efficient in making cakes. Job is full time.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about creating innovative and delicious infused pastries and baked goods while ensuring compliance with NYC hemp regulations and food safety standards. Responsibilities: - Prepare and bake a variety of infused pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods, ensuring precise dosing calculations and compliance with NYC hemp regulations. - Decorate pastries with a keen eye for detail and presentation. - Maintain an organized, clean, and safe kitchen environment, following Department of Health (DOH) regulations. - Ensure proper storage and labeling of all ingredients, including hemp and cannabinoid-infused products. - Collaborate with the team to create new recipes and menu items that are compliant with NYC’s legal guidelines. - Regularly check inventory levels, order supplies, and manage product quality assurance. - Communicate and implement NYC Department of Health regulations effectively to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen. Qualifications: - Extensive knowledge of hemp dosing calculations and NYC hemp regulations. - Exceptional pastry skills, including decoration and presentation. - NYC Food Handling Certification and License (must have or be able to obtain promptly). - Strong understanding of NYC Department of Health (DOH) regulations and the ability to communicate and implement them effectively. - Experience in a professional baking environment, preferably in a high-volume kitchen or bakery. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Passion for creating quality infused products with consistency and precision.
