Job description
Cisco Air, a family owned and operated business for over 20 years, is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems. - Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions. - Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, and ductwork in residential and commercial properties. - Recommend and implement system upgrades, including Indoor Air Quality improvements, energy-efficient systems, and other enhancements. - Educate customers on the benefits of upgrades and new systems, helping them make informed decisions. - Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory used. - Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations. - Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients. - Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely. Qualifications: - Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields such as property maintenance or appliance repair. - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. - Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for specific installations. - Experience in field service roles is a plus. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites is required. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. - Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. - Extensive knowledge of hand tools and mechanical systems. - Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. - Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. - Must be able to pass a background check. - EPA certification and other relevant certifications are preferred. Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
