This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in consistency, and can handle a steady flow of orders during peak hours. Our menu features classic bar favorites, including burgers, chicken sandwiches, cheesesteaks, and a variety of appetizers. The right candidate will be comfortable managing the kitchen from prep to service while maintaining quality and cleanliness. Responsibilities: * Prepare and cook menu items, including burgers, chicken, cheesesteaks, and appetizers * Manage the kitchen independently during service * Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation * Handle food prep and basic inventory needs * Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards * Work efficiently during busy bar hours and maintain ticket flow Requirements: * Previous cooking or short-order cook experience preferred * Ability to work independently and stay organized in a small kitchen * Comfortable cooking multiple items at once in a fast-paced environment * Reliable and punctual * Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices * Must be able to work Saturdays What We Offer: * Flexible scheduling * Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) * A relaxed bar environment with a simple menu * Opportunity to take ownership of the kitchen operation
