We are seeking an experienced professional who can take on a wide variety of responsibilities as our next legal assistant. To be successful in this position requires the right combination of communication skills, empathy, and ability to investigate the root of our (potential) clients’ problems. Since 2010, our firm has helped good people regain control of their future when charged with a crime, providing unsurpassed service to those who call upon us to help them during what is likely the most stressful times in their lives. Daily tasks shall include, but not be limited to:
Implementing, improving, and ensuring adherence to the Firm’s policies and procedures to reflect the Firm’s high standards
Conveying confidence in person and on the phone, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and an ability to develop rapport with prospective clients, current clients, and referral sources
Directing the caller to the appropriate team member, consistent with the Firm’s key administrative policies
Embracing attention to detail, transparency, and accountability
Strong multitasking and task management skills
Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
Treating a client or task at 5:15 P.M. on a Friday with the same care and compassion as one Monday morning at 9:15 A.M.
Managing multiple calendars and keeping schedules for more than one person
Copying, scanning, filing (physical and electronic filing)
Data entry using common web-based formats
Familiar with MS Office Suite and Dropbox or similar
Travel to Federal or State Courthouses for discovery pick up or filings COMPENSATION
The compensation package includes a generous base salary commensurate with skill and experience.
We offer annual health care expense reimbursement of $5,450, a generous PTO/Sick time policy, up to $5,250 per year in tax-free student loan and tuition repayment. and a 401(k) plan with a 4% Firm match. Additional benefits are in the works for 2023 and beyond.
