Hello Tailor is looking for masterful seamstresses who are comfortable and confident with garment construction. Our typical hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, however we also offer part-time (2-3 days/week). The base rate for this position is $25 per hour, but increases with experience.

Our ideal candidate is an aspiring Hairstylist or colorist who wants to gain experience and connections in the Industry. In addition to shampooing hair and mixing colors, you should be able to perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, laundry etc. As our salon assistant you may also help with receptionist duties, including answering phones and greeting clients. We expect all our assistants and stylists to represent the aesthetic of our studio and keep our clients coming back! The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of couture-level sewing techniques, exceptional craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment. Responsibilities: Alter, and finish luxury garments with precision and care. Interpret patterns and garment specifications with a keen eye for detail. Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met. Perform fittings and make adjustments to achieve perfect fit and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety protocols. You must be confident with a variety of fine sewing techniques and demonstrate a couture-level standard of finish.
