Position Overview The Restaurant Shift Lead helps oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service, quality food preparation, and a positive team environment. You will support the management team by supervising staff, maintaining Capriottis operational standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coaching team members, and developing leadership skills in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities • Supervise and support team members during daily restaurant operations, • Delegate tasks and ensure all shift duties are completed efficiently, • Maintain Capriotti’s standards for food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness, • Provide excellent guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally, • Follow company policies for food safety, sanitation, and cash handling, • Assist with scheduling support, labor management, and inventory monitoring, • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas, • Support smooth shift transitions through clear communication with management, • Recognize and encourage team performance and positive contributions, • Promote a team culture built on respect, accountability, and professionalism What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or retail leadership preferred, • Experience as a Shift Lead, Crew Leader, Team Lead, or Assistant Manager is a plus, • Strong customer service and communication skills, • Ability to lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills, • Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset, • Must be at least 16 years old, • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays At Capriottis, we believe in helping our team members grow their careers.
