Looking for Event Registration Staff for a Cruise Event (Evening Shift)
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Duration: June 10th, 2025 | 5:45 PM – 9:30 PM (Staff must arrive by 5:45 PM)
Compensation: Starting $20/HR
Job Type: Part-time / On-Call
Job Description:
We are hiring friendly, organized, and professional Event Registration Staff for a private corporate cruise event. The event will be docked at 6:00 PM and concludes at 9:00 PM. Your role will be to welcome guests, check them in, and provide name badges or credentials as needed. Responsibilities: - Arrive on-site by 5:45 PM for setup - Greet and check in guests in a courteous and efficient manner - Distribute name tags or event materials - Provide general event information and direct guests as needed - Maintain a tidy and professional registration area - Coordinate with event management and security on guest list issues Requirements:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and comfortable managing guest lists or tablets
Professional appearance and demeanor
Previous experience in event check-in or front desk roles preferred
Must be punctual, reliable, and able to stand during the shift
