The goal is to have a dependable, go-to driver to call with advance notice, rather than relying on services like Uber or Lyft where the driver varies each time. This position is particularly well-suited for someone currently driving for ride-share services such as Uber or Lyft, looking for extra guaranteed income, as it allows you to continue accepting rides between scheduled trips when transportation is not needed. The role will primarily involve evenings and weekends, with up to approximately seven trips per week in Manhattan. A weekly retainer will be paid regardless of whether all trips are used, in exchange for maintaining availability.
